A beautiful little stream Rainbow trout was hungry for a personalised Crown Seal Lure from the Cocktail Series. It seems this little guy was also a fan of Jim Beam and was released back to fight for another day.

Rob proudly displays his first trout trolled up on the collectors edition Grand Ridge Brewery Crown Seal Lure. A plastic lure keel was attached to the monofilament main line with a 30cm leader to the Crown Seal Lure. This nice pan-sized trout showed off once it was hooked, putting on a little aerobatics show.

On this fine October day in 2008, Steve lands this trophy 3.2kg Brown trout trolled with a personalised Crown Seal Lure. He used a Strongbow Sweet bottle cap (no it wasn't his drink of choice he assures...it was his girlfriend‘s drink...sure, sure). He just liked the bright green cap.

This is what fishing is all about! Beautiful weather, having a good time and hooking into a few small trout. A smile can tell a thousand words. Josh from Melbourne catches his first ever trout using the ‘Bloody Mary‘ from the ‘Cocktail Series‘.

Mike proudly displays before releasing it back, a dam Brown trout trolled up on a ‘Manhattan‘ from the Cocktail Series. It may be a plain brass cap, but there was nothing plain about the fight this fish had to the boat.

Cate from Gippsland displays a nice pan-sized trout trolled up on a personalised Crown Seal Lure with a Carlton Cold bottle cap. She says that this bright blue bad boy attracted well over 20 hits which converted into 12 trout for the day. Very nice effort!

Steve with a nice Australian bass caught on a Fosters personalised Crownie in a private dam. No matter the size, bass or ‘thugs‘ as they are also known, offer an exciting run for your money. This bully hit the lure hard, but Steve showed him who was boss. The bass lived to swim another day...lucky for him.

A good days fishing for Steve with a hungry Silver perch caught in a private dam, also home to the bass which is also pictured in Braggin' Rights. This perch took a personalised Crownie featuring a Strongbow Sweet bottle cap. Seems to be one of Steve's favourite bottle caps (Are you sure you don't drink Strongbow?).

Marianne proudly displays a nice pan sized Brown trout on a personalised Crownie. The bottle cap of choice for this hungry fish was a Tooheys served with brass and stainless steel. Luckily the fish was released back to swim another day.

This terrific Brown trout speciment was caught and released in the Tanjil River West Branch, below Mt Baw Baw in West Gippsland Victoria. This healthy stream trout fell victim to a personalised Crown Seal Lure using a Grolsch bottle cap. The beer fell victim to me!

Whilst fishing for bream on the Gippsland Lakes, Steve happened to catch a glimpse of something rise in the middle of the river. First cast out and this nice little taylor got Hammered. Literally! Series No. 2 is out now and the first model is Hammered so check out the specs. Its heavier and primarily made using nickel-plated componentry ideal for saltwater species.

This thumping Australian Bass almost engulfed the whole Crown Seal Lure. The lure on the menu was a personalised Crownie from the Cocktail Series, using a Heineken bottle cap.

This nice Lake Purrumbete Brown trout took a personalised Crown Seal Lure using a Carlton Cold bottle cap. This Crownie was fllat-line trolled using a superline at slow speed. It's hard to see, but in the background Steve was also using a trolling sinker on a Crownie - a very effective method for getting the lure down deeper.

Photo 1/2 - Steve caught this big 1.8kg stream brown trout on a personalised Crown Seal Lure using a Carlton Cold bottle cap. This lure was cast upstream and retrieved quicker than the stream flow so that the blade could spin. This big boy nailed the lure and took Steve for a nice journey upstream.

Photo 2/2 - Steve holding this big 1.8kg stream brown caught on a Crownie + Carlton Cold bottle cap.

More proof that the Crown Seal Lure really does catch fish! This 1.9kg stream Brown trout was caught and released using a Melbourne Bitter bottle cap.

12 months on and despite Cate wearing almost the same thing (refer to other photo in Braggin' Rights), she caught and released this nice Brown trout trolled up on a personalised Crown Seal Lure with a Strongbow Sweet bottle cap. She assures us she's since washed these clothes and reminds us that these are in fact her fishing clothes for cold days. Sure, sure...
